Description
Chocolate Rice Krispie Cookies - a fun, sweet cookie that's both soft and crispy. Filled with chocolate, M&M's, and cocoa Krispies, they are a sweet, unique cookie.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 ½ cup all purpose flour
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- ½ cup old fashioned oats
- ½ cup m&ms
- ½ cup cocoa rice krispies
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the butter, vanilla extract, and egg.
- In a separate bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and oats. Stir until fully combined and then add to the butter mixture.
- Stir until well blended. Fold in m&ms, cocoa rice Krispies, and white chocolate chips.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop rounded balls of dough onto a silicone or parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool 1 minute on the baking sheet and then transfer to a cooling rack to completely cool.
