Creamy roasted tomato  basil soup

An easy, creamy, rich, flavorful roasted tomato basil soup recipe that tastes like it's been simmering all day.

– Roma tomatoes – Cherry tomatoes – Onions – Onion – Garlic – Olive oil – Marzano tomatoes – Salt & pepper – Fresh basil – Fresh thyme – Sugar – Chicken stock – Tomato paste – Heavy cream

Season the onions, garlic and tomatoes with salt and pepper, then roast them to get all kinds of flavor built into this soup.

Use an immersion blender to take the roasted ingredients and blend it smooth. You can also let it cool and then use a blender.

Adding extra fresh basil over the soup makes it extra delicious. If you're using heavy cream, add it at the end.
