– Chicken broth – Creamed style corn – Rotel – Frozen corn – Shredded chicken – Chili powder – Cumin – Garlic powder – Onion powder – Oregano – Toppings like avocado, sour cream and tortilla strips

All the ingredients, except the chicken, are added to a heavy bottom Dutch oven. Bring it to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

If you want a chunky soup, you can add in the shredded chicken here. Let it simmer another 15 minutes before serving.

If you want a smoother texture to your soup, use an immersion blender and combine all the ingredients really well. You can use a blender too but lhe the soup cool before adding it or the pressure fro the heat will push the blender top off.
