These zesty and crispy tequila lime chicken wings are easy to make in the oven. Flavorful wings are coated in a tequila lime wing sauce that's perfect for parties, summer, or a weeknight dinner.
Add the wings, salt, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and chili powder to a mixing bowl.
Mix to coat all of the wings in the seasonings.
Place the wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between them.
Bake for 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
While the wings are cooking, add all of the sauce ingredients to a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat, whisking frequently so that the cornstarch is smooth and incorporated.
Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, letting the tequila cook down and the sauce to thicken.
Once the wings are cooked completely, add them to a clean mixing bowl.
Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat. Serve and enjoy!

Notes
It's important to let the sauce simmer so that the tequila can cook down.
If you like extra lime, add more lime juice to the sauce.
A great alternative to wing seasoning is chili lime seasoning.
