Berry Parfait Tips and Tricks

  • If you plan to meal prep this in advance, I would recommend leaving the granola separate until you’re ready to eat. That way, it stays crunchy!
  • You can customize this however you like. I love going with berries so blackberries and raspberries are also good in this.
  • If you’re not a fan of the nonfat plain Greek yogurt, substitute it for one you do like.

Breakfast Yogurt Parfait FAQs

What kind of jar can I use to store breakfast parfaits?

I recommend a Ball jar that is easy to transport.

What yogurt works best for breakfast parfaits?

It’s entirely up to you. I personally prefer a Greek yogurt because they are thicker and creamier.

What is the difference between a parfait and yogurt?

A parfait is a layered dish that has yogurt in it. The parfait is the completed dish while yogurt is a component of that dish.

Can I make a yogurt parfait ahead of time?

You can make yogurt parfaits in advance. Just cover them completely and place in the refrigerator until you’re ready to eat.

Breakfast Parfait Alterations to Lower Calories or WW Points

  • Stick with nonfat plain Greek yogurt or a similar alternative. It’s high in protein and great on macros.
  • You can swap the regular granola with protein granola.
