Tips, tricks, and faqs

Can I use a different flavor of yogurt? Absolutely. Use whatever yogurt you prefer. I specifically use nonfat, plain Greek yogurt sweetened and flavored with pure maple syrup because of the protein content. Use what you love!

Can this be made ahead of time? You could prep the individual ingredients ahead of time, but I wouldn’t recommend assembly until you’re ready to eat them.

What kind of yogurt parfait cup container should I use? I love to use either a stemless wine glass or a pint size mason jar. If you put it in a mason jar, you can have your yogurt parfait to go!

What is the best granola for a yogurt parfait? Honestly, whatever your favorite granola is, that’s the one I’d choose! I personally like the Nature Valley Protein Granola.

alterations for picky eaters

  • Use your picky eater’s favorite yogurt!
  • Let your picky eater choose their favorite candy or sprinkles.
  • You can opt to use a different sweetener than maple syrup, or honestly just use an already sweetened yogurt straight from the store. Tailor it to their tastes.

alterations to lower the calories or ww points

It’s great as is! Obviously you could leave off any sprinkles or candy, but who wants to do that?! There’s no healthy candy corn, but you can take a healthy treat and add some of your favorite candy.

I like to add protein granola to the tops of mine to make it a low calorie, protein packed, granola fruit yogurt parfait!
